INTRODUCTION

So you want to see some dinosaurs? The Natural History Museum has the bones and teeth. There is also a large collection of mammals, terrestial and marine. Check out the blue whale, largest animal on earth. The amazing bird collection includes a dodo exhibit, a long extinct ugly thing that was a yard high at maturity.

There is also an impressive collection of minerals, gems, and rocks. See what gold and other stuff looks like when it comes out of the ground. Stuff that comes out of the sky, meteroites, is also on display.

Take a ride on an earthquake in one of the animated displays. I've been through the real thing so I pass on this exhibit.

The Creepy Crawlies gallery features all the bugs you would ever want to stay away from. Spiders, cockroaches, beetles, and other insects by the thousands will amaze you.

The Wildlife Garden features thousands of species of British plant and animal life. This is only open through October and is free, 12h00 to 17h00.
