These sites in the right hand column are generally official municipal sites. Some are maintanied by regions. Most provide a rich harvest of information for visitors. You can usually find hotel information and links, local sites of interest, weather, and much more. Unfortunately, some of the sites were designed by hot shots who have no clue about web site navigation. Finding what you need on these sites amongst the fancy graphics is a problem. If everything comes up in a foreign language that you are not familiar with look for the English version, identified as such or linked by a British Union Jack.

The name in italics is the official name of the city or region, when it is not the same as the English version.
